About Madison East MTB

The Madison East MTB team is open to 6th–12th grade students from Madison East High School and its feeder middle schools. We're a welcoming, volunteer-run team dedicated to helping young riders build skills, fitness, and friendships through mountain biking.

Where We Ride

Our team trains and rides at Sycamore Park and Sheehan Park in Sun Prairie — two great local trail systems perfect for developing riders of all skill levels.

Season

Our season runs July through October, culminating in Wisconsin NICA league races.

Coaches

Mike McGarry — Head Coach / mike@wisconsinmtb.org

Mike is the head coach of the Madison East and LaFollette teams. He has been working with the WI NICA league since 2014 as a head coach and league staff. His day job is the Director of Coaching and Education for NICA, so he gets to think about coaching all day, every day!
