151 ADVENTURE’S sole mission is to support the mountain bike teams in Eastern Dane County. Together, our teams empower today’s youth around Madison’s Eastside, Windsor/DeForest, and Sun Prairie with bikes, the outdoors, and adventure!|

Red fury mountain bike club

May – June

Red Fury is a non-competitive bike club geared towards 3rd – 12th graders. It’s a great way to get moving after the long winter!

Red Fury is run by volunteer parent-coaches, with practices starting at Sun Prairie’s Sheehan Park and then shifting to different trail systems in Dane County. Many of the participants that are old will also join a NICA teams, as well!

MS/HS NICA RACE teams

July – october

5 High School based teams that are part of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Cycling League and the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA).

NICA is open to 6th–12th grades. Home school and private school can join these teams. Additionally, 151 Adventure Composite is a team for any student-athlete who doesn’t have a school based team.

Our mission is to empower and support youth cycling teams on Madison’s East Side, Sun Prairie, Deforest, and eastern Dane County. As a volunteer-run organization, we provide financial resources to ensure that all young cyclists have access to the equipment and training they need to reach their full potential.
