About Us

151 Adventure

At 151 Adventure, our mission is to support mountain bike teams right here in Eastern Dane County. We’re passionate about inspiring today’s youth on Madison’s Eastside and Sun Prairie through bikes, the outdoors, and exciting adventures! We strive to build a friendly, inclusive cycling community where kids and families feel welcome. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned rider, everyone’s invited to join us and share in the fun on two wheels!

About Our teams

151 Adventure proudly supports four school teams for students in grades 6-12, plus our own composite team. We also have Red Fury Mountain Bike Club, which is all about helping students from grades 3-12 build their skills and have fun riding!

Meet Our Leadership

151 Adventure, Inc. is powered by people who believe deeply in the power of bikes to change lives. Our Board of Directors is a dedicated group of community leaders, parents, and riders who steer our organization toward its mission — empowering youth cycling teams on Madison’s East Side, Sun Prairie, and across eastern Dane County.

Together, this volunteer board provides direction, oversight, and inspiration to ensure that every young rider has access to the equipment, training, and support they need to reach their full potential. Beyond racing and results, our board is committed to helping youth become stronger, more confident versions of themselves — on and off the bike.

OUR BOARD

Head coaches

Our head coaches are the heartbeat of every practice, every climb, and every finish line. They plan training rides, develop skills progressions, and show up week after week to push riders to discover what they're capable of — on the bike and beyond. More than just coaches, they're mentors who build lasting relationships with young athletes and create a team culture where every rider belongs and every effort matters.

Team directors

Team Directors are the engines that keep our teams running. They handle the logistics, communications, and coordination that make each season possible — from organizing race day details to keeping families informed and connected. Working hand-in-hand with coaches and the board, our Team Directors are the trusted point of contact for riders and parents, and the reason our teams feel like a community, not just a program.
