Deforest MTB Team

The DeForest Mountain Bike Team is part of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) and the Wisconsin Interscholastic Cycling League. Students in grades 6-12 who live within the DeForest Area School District are eligible to join our co-ed, no-cut teams.

Early season practices will be held at parks in DeForest, and then we’ll practice on the mountain bike trails in Sun Prairie at Sheehan Park. We also do adventure rides at other trail systems in Dane County. In September and October, we will be participating in the 5 event weekends as part of the Fall NICA Season.

Deforest MTB formed as an off-shoot of the Sun Prairie Composite Team in 2019. Through strong recruiting efforts, the team has grown quickly over the past five years!
