Deforest Mountain Bike Team
The Deforest Mountain Bike Team formed as an off-shoot of the Sun Prairie Composite Team in 2019. Through strong recruiting efforts, the team has grown quickly over the past few years and was stronger than ever in 2023
Students in grades 6-12 who attend school in the Deforest Area School District can join this team. The team is open to home school students within the district as well.
(Madison) Eastside Mountain Bike Team
The Madison East Mountain Bike team became an official high school club in 2018 with five members. In 2022 the team had grown to over 35 student-athletes
Any student-athlete in grades 6-12 attending the Madison East school district including feeder schools Black Hawk, O’Keeffe, and Sherman as well as homeschooled kids can join. The team is looking forward to growing with strong support from students, parents, and the community.
Madison La Follette Mountain Bike Team
The Madison La Follette Mountain Bike team held is inaugural season in Fall 2022!
Any student-athlete in grades 6-12 attending the Madison La Follette HS, and it’s feeder middle schools can join. The team is looking forward to growing with strong support from students, parents, and the community.
Sun Prairie Mountain Bike Team
Originally formed as the original Composite team in 2014, this unified team serves both Sun Prairie East HS and Sun Prairie West HS. SP MTB is a club sport at both high schools.
Additionally, Prairie View MS, Patrick March MS, Central Heights MS, and Prairie Phoenix Academy students are a part of this team. Athletes join a team based on their high school boundary. Home school students in the district can select a team based on the SPASD school boundaries.
Red Fury bike Club
Red Fury is our mountain bike youth development club. Red Fury begins practice in May and typically runs through June. An optional part of Red Fury is cross-country (XC) racing in the Wisconsin Off-Road Racing Series (WORS) during the summer months. Red Fury is open to girls and boys in grades 3-12.
