The Madison East Mountain Bike team became an official high school club in 2018 with five members. In 2022 the team had grown to over 35 student-athletes, and in the 2023 the team had over 45 student-athletes and 12 NICA licensed coaches.
Any student-athlete in grades 6-12 attending the Madison East school district including feeder middle schools Black Hawk, O’Keeffe, and Sherman as well as homeschooled kids can join. The team is looking forward to growing with strong support from students, parents, and the community.
